Job Title: Product Engineer (Mechanical/Thermal Systems)
Job Type: Internship / Part-time.
We’re developing next-generation sustainable consumer products, and we’re looking for a Product Engineer to join our team. This is an ideal role for an engineering student eager to apply analytical thinking and hands-on skills to real products — from concept to testing.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct analytical and numerical studies in fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and strength of materials, including FEM simulations.
Produce and maintain accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings, ensuring databases and documentation are well organised and up to date.
Prototype and test components and systems to support product improvement and new product development.
Perform fault analysis at all levels — from individual machine diagnostics to statistical dataset evaluations.
Research and evaluate new materials to improve performance, durability, and sustainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in design, manufacturing, and quality to translate engineering insights into practical solutions.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Product Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.
Experience with CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Fusion 360, ProE or similar).
Familiarity with finite element modelling and analytical methods.
Ability to plan, run, and interpret experiments or tests.
A structured and methodical approach to data organisation and reporting.
Must be bilingual in English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in both languages.
Nice to Have
Experience with prototype fabrication, rapid testing, or data analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB, Python, Excel).
Interest in sustainable design or consumer product development.
Why Join Us
Work on tangible, environmentally meaningful technology.
