Capsule is our original and most feature-full personal dishwasher. It offers powerful cleaning and is plumbing-ready (but plumbing is completely optional).

Designed for modern living, Capsule fits in small kitchens, rented apartments, off-grid homes, or anywhere you need an easy, hygienic way to wash dishes. Its small footprint doesn’t compromise performance: Capsule cleans, sanitizes, and dries your dishes in just 15 minutes.

At just 18.3 in tall, 10.3 in wide, and 20 in deep, it’s the narrowest dishwasher on the market — ideal for countertops where every inch matters. Despite its slim profile, the internal rack width is 7.9 in, wide enough for everyday plates, bowls, and cookware.

Despite its compact size, Capsule fits up to 25 items on its own, or 35 items when used with the Dual Tray accessory (sold separately). That includes full-sized 12 in frying pans, 12 × 3.3 in deep cast iron pots, tall 11 in water bottles, chopping boards, and oven trays.

Capsule uses just 0.7 gallons of water in a quick wash — about 4× less than hand-washing — while reaching temperatures of 167 °F. That’s hot enough to kill germs (which start dying at 149 °F), and far hotter than your hands can safely handle. It’s not just a clean you can see — it’s a clean you can trust.

Capsule is the only personal dishwasher on the market (together with Capsule Solo) equipped with a premium stainless steel interior for superior heat retention, energy efficiency, and faster drying. Unlike plastic tubs or heat-leaking windows, it conserves energy and protects your dishes without unnecessary exposure to plastics.

Use Capsule anywhere, with or without plumbing. It comes with a Water Tank for clean water, and you can drain waste water directly into your sink. Alternatively, you can purchase a second Water Tank for waste water to enable completely self-contained use.

The Water Tank is designed for comfort: it sits at counter height and is easy to fill without lifting above your shoulders, unlike all other personal dishwashers, which require filling a top-mounted tank.

If you prefer to connect your Capsule to the plumbing, we offer a Plumbing Hose (sold separately) so you don’t have to use the water tank for fresh water. It uses a G3/4 connector and is 5 ft long.

Our transparent external tanks are not only convenient but more hygienic. Unlike other dishwashers’ hidden internal tanks, there’s no risk of trapped moisture causing mold or algae. By moving the tanks outside the machine, Capsule also maximizes the usable interior space for dishes.

Thanks to its three-stage debris filter, there’s no need to rinse dishes before loading: just scrape off leftovers and load. For detergent, it uses only 0.18–0.35 oz of dishwasher powder, gel, or liquid. (Small tablets also work, but pods designed for full-size machines are too strong for Capsule’s efficient water use.)

Capsule includes 10 wash programs: Quick Wash, Gentle Wash, Daily Wash, Heavy Duty, Intensive Clean, Eco Wash, Fruit Wash, UV Sanitation (Short), UV Sanitation (Long), and Fruit & Veg Wash (with UV).

A standout feature of Capsule is UV-C sanitization using high-efficiency LEDs with a wavelength of 265–275 nm — the same range hospitals use to sterilize surfaces. You can run a dedicated UV cycle with no water, ideal for sanitizing phones, keys, baby bottles, face masks, mail, and more. Just place your items inside, press UV, and let the light do the work: 10 minutes for hard surfaces, 30 minutes for paper or textiles. It’s a powerful, chemical-free way to keep everyday essentials safe and hygienic.

With Energy Star Certification in the US (and an EU/UK energy rating of E), Capsule is the most energy-efficient compact dishwasher available. It uses just 137–184 Wh per cycle depending on the mode, far less than the 500 Wh average used when washing by hand with warm water. And not only is it better for the planet, but it also costs just $11 per year to run for a standard two-person household, according to our Energy Star certification.

Capsule runs at a quiet 60 dB, comparable to a low-noise washing machine and quieter than most modern vacuum cleaners. And because it has no automatic steam-blasting door, it’s safer for kids and pets. The steam is released gradually through vents, not suddenly in one hot burst.

A RAD, or rinse aid dispenser, automatically releases a small amount of rinse aid during the final rinse cycle of your wash.

Rinse aid is a liquid that helps water run off your dishes more easily, which leads to:

• Shinier glassware and cleaner plastic items

Capsule features a built-in RAD that ensures your dishes come out dry and spotless, without needing to wipe or air dry them.
